Top triathletes gear up for Cobra Ironman 70.3

MANILA, Philippines - A crack international field braces for a spirited chase for top honors in the Cobra Energy Drink Ironman 70.3 Philippine 2014 with over 2,500 triathletes expected to see action in the event firing off tomorrow in Mactan, Cebu

While emphasis will be on strength and stamina in the swim-bike-run event, speed will also be a big factor in the bike stage with Rudy Project coming up with a limited edition gear specifically designed for this year’s Ironman.

The Ironman Rudy Project helmets will be on hand at Ironman Philippines Expo also set during the three-day event.

The Wing57 has been wind tunnel tested and earned the best and fastest honors among the leading aero helmets in time trial simulations. John Cobb, aerodynamic guru, aided in designing the gear which performs at its finest at full speed.

On the other hand, the Wingspan, the lightest in the market at 280 grams, is designed for time trial competitions and the most aerodynamic and versatile.
