MANILA, Philippines - Long-time Games and Amusements Board (GAB)-licensed boxing matchmaker Tony Chaves passed away from heart failure Sunday.
He was 79.
Chaves, a former boxer, also served as assistant trainer to world champions Luisito Espinosa, Morris East and title challenger Socrates Batoto, all managed by Hermie Rivera.
