MANILA, Philippines - Eight teams will vie for two stepladder slots allotted to the Metro Manila region in the Champions League (PCCL) 2013 National Collegiate Championship.
The qualifying games are scheduled Nov. 19-21 at TIP Gym, Manila.
The field is divided into two groups. Making up Group A are Ateneo, Arellano University, ISAA champion La Consolacion College Manila and NCBL titlist Technology Institute of the Philippines.
Group B is composed of Emilio Aguinaldo College, University of the East, NAASCU champion Centro Escolar University and UCLAAI titlist St. Francis of Assisi.
Already in the elite Sweet 16 group are the UAAP champion La Salle, CESAFI champion University of Visayas, University of Santo Tomas, Far Eastern University, National University, San Beda, Letran, San Sebastian College-Recoletos, Perpetual Help University, Southwestern University and University of San Carlos.
Other Sweet 16 qualifiers will come from the regional games that will be held in Vigan, Sorsogon City, Ormoc and Davao City.
