MANILA, Philippines - KidzHoops, the longest running organized youth basketball tournament, returns with an expanded format for more fun and games. Since every conference has only limited slots, tournament organizer Eva Celestino said she is forming the Eastern and Western Divisions in Metro Manila to accommodate more children interested to participate in the league.
The Western Division’s registration and leveling on Sept. 15 at 10 a.m. will be at Buddhacare Gym, Araneta Avenue, QC, while the Eastern Division is on Sept. 22 at 1 p.m., RFM Gym, along Pioneer St., Mandaluyong. The tournament games will be played simultaneously starting Oct. 13.
KidzHoops has been providing recreational opportunities to boys and girls age 8 to 14 for 10 years now. Experienced players and beginners alike are invited to join this all-Sunday basketball tournament for a nominal fee.
Celestino said KidzHoops is opening another provincial chapter in Angeles, Pampanga on Sept. 14.
