Suzuki satellite racing teams invade RUGP Bohol leg

MANILA, Philippines - April King Mascardo of Suzuki-Phoenix V-MAN Racing Team took the championship of the 4AT Scooter 160 Intermediate Expert category in the Bohol leg of The Racing Line’s 2013 Castrol Power One Regional Underbone Grand Prix (RUGP).

His teammates Anver Antonio, Joven Millana and Chriss Karlou Samoga added podium finishes at the Panglao Kartways in Panglao, Bohol.

Antonio took second in Novice 30; Millana third in the Intermediate Expert 130 and second in the 4AT scooter 160 Intermediate Expert and Samoga second in both Expert 130 and Expert Open.

Other satellite Suzuki racing teams from Luzon and Visayas also gave sterling performances.

Suzuki-Phoenix YRS Racing Team’s James Aldrin Mendez bagged the third place trophy at the expert open.

John Louis Chan of Suzuki-Phoenix BMR Racing Team ranked second at the Novice 130. Mario Borbon Jr., also of the Suzuki-Phoenix BMR Racing Team, placed third in both Expert 130 and 4AT Scooter Expert Open. Neil Perino finished second in the 4AT Scooter 130 Beginners.

The winning bikes are Suzuki Smash Cool 115 and Suzuki Raider R150 for the underbone categories.

 and Suzuki Nex115 and Suzuki Skydrive for Automatic or Scooter categories.
