MANILA, Philippines - Big Chill went on a scoring spree in the early going and went on to clobber Boracay Rum, 82-60, while Cagayan Valley blasted Informatics, 98-56, in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at The Arena in San Juan yesterday.

Mac Montilla hit a triple to spark a dizzying 17-0 run as the Superchargers opened a 22-6 first quarter lead which they used as a springboard to post their second win in three games for joint third with the Blackwater Sports Elite, the Cebuana Lhuillier Gems and the Café France Bakers.

Mike Silungan scored 18 points to lead five others in double digits as Café France recovered from a poor first half showing to beat Jumbo Plastic, 92-69.

The Bakers trailed 34-40 at halftime but seized control with a 33-point third quarter output. Café France outscored Jumbo Plastic (1-3), 58-29, in the second half.

Janus Lozada scored 18 points, including four triples, Arvie Bringas had 16 points while Terrence Romeo contributed 15 markers in his first game since a hand injury sidelined him late in the elimination of last conference’s Aspirants’ Cup.

Roider Cabrera tallied 14 points and Paolo Taha added 11 for the Waves, who fell to 2-2.
