MANILA, Philippines - Erase Plantcenta/Exfoliant has joined the MBL First Conference (Open) basketball championship as part of its buildup for the coming PBA Developmental League where it hopes to further hone its players’ skills and competitiveness.
No less than team owner Louie Gamboa and son Marc confirmed the entry of Erase Plantcenta/Exfoliant as a regular member in the MBL, saying “the team continues to work hard and find ways to improve and maintain its competitive edge in the coming PBA D-League.”
Gamboa said Erase Plantcenta/Exfoliant has put up a highly competitive roster capable of holding its own against regular MBL teams.
The team is now in the front pack in the MBL Open, posting an 84-66 victory over Philippine Coast Guard and an 88-58 rout over AMA Computer University for a 2-0 start.
Backstopping the team are Rico Rivera, Ervic Vijandre, Marlon Gomez, Macky Acosta, Allan Mangahas, Chris Liaz, JV Ferreria, Mark Sarangay, John Orbeta, Alwyn Manalang, Erwin Corneo and Gamboa himself.
