MANILA, Philippines - The Manila Southwoods Seniors Invitational gets going Feb. 21-22 with another banner field expected to see action in the club’s premier member-guest tournament at the Legends and Masters courses in Carmona, Cavite.
Each team is composed of one Southwoods senior’s chapter member and his guest, who should be 55-years-old-and-above with maximum handicap of 24, according to the organizing Manila Southwoods Seniors Chapter headed by president Jose Cedo and vice president Paco Gonzalez.
A Yamaha Golf Cart by Kart Plaza, a Wilson Kinetic golf set, a Mizuno T-Zoid golf set, a TaylorMade Burner iron set and a 32” Panasonic LCD will be staked as hole-in-one prizes in the event supported by Yamaha by Kart Plaza, Wilson and Mizuno Sports.
The tournament, backed by major sponsors AM-Europharma, Electro-Mechanical Products, Inc. (EMPI), Romago, Inc., Fabriduct and Rudy Project Phils., will use the team aggregate format in the first day at Legends before play shifts to team scramble in the second day at Masters, both under the Molave point scoring system.
Competitions will be on Groups I, II, III and IV (Super Seniors) with the top two teams in each category to receive prizes and trophies.
