MANILA, Philippines - Fresh from their conquest of the PAL Ladies Interclub, the trio of Lora Roberto, Nini Samaniego and Claire Ong executed precise putting on super fast greens as they combined for a low gross of 11-under-par 61 to romp away with overall title in the inaugural Sherwood Cup at the Sherwood Hills Golf Club in Trece Martires, Cavite.
Roberto, Samaniego and Ong, who were part of the Manila Southwoods squad that won the PAL event in Davao, made a total of 11 birdies in a show of excellent greens reading in the Jack Nicklaus signature course.
