MANILA, Philippines - A big field of local and international runners is expected to vie for honors in the 2012 Subic International Marathon set Jan. 21-22.
Aside from the 42-kilometer run, other events on tap include the 3K, 5K, 10K and 21K races. The 3K and 5K races will be run on Jan. 21 and the rest on the following day.

Green, lush and clean race routes with ample hydrating stations every 1.5 kilometers, and rest facilities on every turnaround are some of the highlights participants can look forward to.
The SIM has an internationally endorsed course and RFID Accurate Timing System making it a world-class race like the New York marathon.
Now on its sixth year, the event is organized by eXtribe in line with Retired General Sammy Tucay’s vision of running as transformational.
The SIM has an existing partnership with the Christian Officers Reform the Police Service Movement Foundation, Inc. (CORPS), which holds community development programs all over the country.
