MANILA, Philippines - Boxing fans get a chance to see Michael Landero’s bid for the International Boxing Organization (IBO) mini-flyweight championship in Rod Nazario’s In This Corner tonight over NBN-4.
In this special edition presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PSCO) and Petron and aired 7-8 p.m., Landero fought South African Hekkie Budler for the IBO 105-lbs. Title.
The bout took place at the Emperor’s Palace, Kempton Park, Gauteng in South Africa.
Terry O’Connor was the third man on the ring, while the three judges who scored the bout were Tony Nyangiwe, Isaac Tshabalala, and recent Manila visitor Robert Byrd.
