The Adamson Falcons bucked a slow start and came back strong after halftime as they routed the UP Maroons, to end their first round bid on a high note in the UAAP Season 74 men’s basketball tournament at the Smart Araneta Coliseum today.
Scoring just eight points in an uneventful opening quarter, the Falcons came out with guns blazing in the next three quarters to finish with a blowout victory.
Alex Nuyles exploded for 21 points to lead Adamson, which solidified their No. 2 ranking with a 5-2 win-loss card.
UP absorbed its fifth setback against two wins.
