Manila, Philippines - A 4-cock derby dubbed Battle of Champions will be held May 23 at the Elorde Cockpit on Sucat Road, Parañaque.
Over 50 entries from Bulacan, Biñan and San Pedro (Laguna), Zapote, Cavite and Parañaque are expected to compete in the event which has a guaranteed prize of P300,000, with pot money pegged at P11,000.
The handler and gaffer of the winning entry will receive P20,000 and P10,000, respectively, with minimum bet of P5,500. Weight limit is from 1.8 kg to 2.4 kg.
First fight shall start at 7 p.m. Submission of entry is from 6 a.m. to 12 noon on the day of the derby.
Meanwhile a One-Cock Ulutan Fastest Kill will be held June 6, with Wolverine Boss Marlon, Buyog (collector) and Boss Albert as hosts. The event is hosted by the Elorde Management, with P3,000 for fastest kill, P550 pot money and P3,300 minimum bet. Registration starts 7 a.m. and fight starts at 12 noon.
