MANILA, Philippines - The country’s leading juniors and upcoming players resume their hunt for honors and ranking points as the Toby’s-Prince Summer Tennis Festival reels off tomorrow at the Rizal Memorial Tennis Center.
The cast in the week-long tournament includes those who competed in the Juntaphil Cup in Baguio and the First Gen/Juntaphil Metro Age Group at RMTC at the PCA courts. Events on tap are the 18-under, 16-, 14- and 12-under competitions for boys and girls and the 10-unisex category.
The tournament is part of Toby’s advocacy to promote youth sports and provide them a tournament where they can hone their talent and skills.
At stake in all divisions are ranking points while a non-ranking tournament for beginners will be held in the 12- and 16-under groups for boys and girls, according to the sponsoring Toby’s Sports headed by vice president Toby Claudio.

Backed by Futures Tennis Foundation, Adidas, Nike, Thermos, Equipe, Fruit Magic, SGM Bikes and Total Fitness, the event also features an invitational team competition with a maximum of 10 schools each in the boys and girls divisions.
