FBL holds semis in three divisions

MANILA, Philippines - University of Sto. Tomas and Adamson University clash for the boys’ juniors crown while eight teams knock each other out in the semifinal games in the midgets, mini, and girls’ divisions in the Futures Basketball League (FBL) set Sunday at the Philsports Arena in Pasig.

UST smothered San Beda College, 68-53, while Adamson struggled past San Benildo, 50-47, in the semifinal round last week to arrange a showdown for the boys’ crown.

Meanwhile, SBC goes for the first finals berth in the girls’ division as it takes on MISA at 8:30 a.m.

Southville International School, routed St. Theresa College, 58-25, and De La Salle-Zobel dispute the other championship berth in the girls’ side.

Colegio de San Agustin goes up against St. Mary’s in the midgets division with the winner clashing for the crown against San Beda College.

In mini division, Colegio de San Agustin battles Xavier with the winner advancing to the finals against La Salle-Greenhills.
