MANILA, Philippines -The MCC 1900 & below standard and semi-active chess tourney for adults and kiddies get underway on Nov. 20-21 at Eton Cyberpod Corinthian Mall located opposite Robinson Galeria along Ortigas Ave., Mandaluyong City.
The tournament is open to beginners, unrated and rated players with NCFP ratings not over 1900. It will employ the five-round Swiss system.
The two-day schedule will start at 1 p.m. on Nov. 20 using the longer time control of 75 minutes while the one-day event begins at 10:30 a.m. on Nov. 21.
At stake is a total pot of P10,000 with the champion getting P3,000.
