MANILA, Philippines - The Blue Water Day Spa fun run hopes to draw some 5,000 runners with the target roster already hitting the halfway mark with still four weeks left before the event is fired off Oct. 17 at the SM Mall of Asia grounds.
Organizers have been upbeat with the turnout since the event offers a different kind of pull, including a singlet designing contest in line with the fun run’s theme of “Innovating Wholeness” with fabulous prizes at stake. Selected best-designed singlets will have a chance to ramp their singlets down the catwalk after the event.
The event, set at 5 a.m., features the 3k, 5k and 10k races.
Registration is ongoing at Timex outlets at SM MOA and Glorietta, Rox at Bonifacio High Street, Columbia at Greenblet 5, Rest Toe Run at Gateway, Urban Luxe Facial Center and Spa at Ayala Alabang and Blue Water Day Spa in Makati, Ortigas, Eastwood, Tomas Morato and Capitol Hills.
