MANILA, Philippines - Thousands of call center agents, including managers, took part in the first Contact Center Association of the Philippines (CCAP) fun run at the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City recently.
Benedict Hernandez, senior executive and BPO service delivery operations head of Accenture, Jon Arayata, vice president of Bayantel, Jojo Uligan, executive director of CCAP, Eric Concepcion, vice president for Human Resources of Teleperformance, Butch Valenzuela, president of Visaya KPO, and Julian Valenzuela, vice president of Visaya KPO, headed the list of participants in the event put up by CCAP, the official industry association of the call centers in the country.
The event served as part of the association’s Health and Wellness Program to promote awareness as well as encourage members of the industry to develop mental, physical and emotional vitality.
The program is designed to ensure that call center agents and their colleagues develop and maintain the necessary stamina.
