MANILA, Philippines - Angela Benting and Paulina Soriano racked up another victory for Adamson 1 as they turned back Jessica Morado and Sharah So of Ateneo 2, 21-17, 21-15, in the PCSO women’s beach volleyball weekly fun tournaments at the Cantada Sports Center in Taguig City over the weekend.
The match took more than an hour to finish, highlighted with fierce exchange of spikes to the delight of the big crowd in the event backed by Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office, Tanduay, Speedo and Mossimo.
“We are encouraging more participants to this weekly fun event. This is open to any two-member teams of college students, professionals and even housewives who are into beach volleyball. We want to make beach volleyball truly a sport for all,” said Edgardo Cantada of the organizing Joe Cantada Sports.
Registration is open until 4 p.m. of tournament day with the event starting set at 5 p.m. every Saturday.
