10-year-old Mighty Sports' new find from jungolf circuit

MANILA, Philippines - Jets Sajulga continued his remarkable showing by topping the recent Vis-Min Youth Circuit leg of the Open Jungolf Tournament in Del Monte, Bukidnon.

A protégé of Mighty Sports, Sajulga came through with a solid performance as he outdistanced some of his older rivals to win the event.

“The boy is so strong and very patient,” said Mighty Sports’ Harlan Yu. “That’s the reason we’re helping him. We want him to reach his full potential.”

The win was a huge follow-up to his runner-up finish in the Class D division of the Callaway Junior Golf Qualifying tournament at Southwoods Golf Club – a feat that earned him a slot in the RP team that will see action in the Callaway Junior World Championship in San Diego, California July 12-16.

Knowing how Sajulga trains, the Mighty Sports official believes the 10-year-old wonder will hit big time some day just like Ramon Brobio and Carito Villaroman before.

“He trains like no ordinary kid,” said Yu.

Sajulga has also been invited to the 2010 US Kids World Championship and the European Championship set June 1-4 at Gullane, East Lothian, Scotland.

“Mighty Sports is proud to have Jets in our roster of talents,” said Yu.
