MANILA, Philippines - The country’s top golf developers, shops, architectural, apparel makers, media and health service providers gather at the NBC Tent on April 10-11 for the third GDAP Summer Golf Show 2010, which was designed to become the ultimate one-stop shop for all golf and health enthusiasts.
More than 75 booths to represent nearly 40 companies will display the latest in golf club designs, as well as top of the line shoes and apparel. They will share the spotlight with companies offering the latest innovations in golf carts, fitness center and gym equipment, and golf construction supplies.
Golf Distributors Association of the Philippines (GDAP) president Butch Halaguena, however, said the GDAP Summer Golf Show will not be limited to trading golf merchandise.
“The 2010 Summer Show will also showcase other golf services like real estate developers and other related services/products such as trophies and corporate giveaways,” Halaguena said.
Randy Rana, GDAP secretary and Golf Show chairman, added: “As the sport of golf complements an active lifestyle, we will also showcase other sports, apparels and equipment; while lifestyle and wellness services, and health products will also be on sale.”
Fairs and More, the appointed event manager, assured a fluid movement among golf show visitors, which last year was pegged at 3, 944 individuals who patronized 64 booths put up by 32 firms, with its very spacious venue design.
“Summer is definitely the perfect time to play golf. The GDAP was inspired by the demand for better equipment and services related to the sport that we, in partnership with Fairs and More, have come up with more improvements to the first two summers shows we have organized in the past to suit up to the taste of our clients and visitors,” Rana said.
Fairs and More will also handle the 15th Philippine International Golf Show, also to be organized by GDAP, on September 24-26 at Hall 1 of the SMX Convention Center at the Mall of Asia in Pasay City.
