Milo Little Olympics fires off in Cebu

MANILA, Philippines - More than 1,200 students and coaches from the NCR, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao will take part in the first-ever National Milo Little Olympics beginning today at the Cebu City Sports Center.

“The National Milo Little Olympics reflects our solid commitment to help build champions in life,” says Nestlé AVP and Milo sports events executive Pat Goc-ong.

“Through this event, we hope to inspire the country’s finest young athletes to hopefully become beacons of hope in our country’s quest to finally win that elusive Olympic gold,” said Goc-ong.

The event will showcase the country’s finest student athletes as they compete in 12 sports disciplines . Events on tap are athletics, badminton, chess, football, gymnastics, lawn tennis, scrabble, swimming, sepak takraw, table tennis, taekwondo and volleyball.
