MANILA, Philippines - Well-known sportswriter Virgilio “Boy” Manuel joined his Creator last Monday following a lingering illness at the family residence in Tuguegarao City. He was 66.
He is survived by lone sister Marita, a former broadcaster who is currently in the United States.
His remains lie in state at the Babaran Funeral Homes in Balzain, that city. Details of interment will be announced later.
