MANILA, Philippines - A unique indoor hole-in-one competition with a Kia Urban Crossover vehicle worth over P1 million as a prize will serve as one of the highlights of this year’s Philippine International Golf Show that will be staged at the SMX Convention Center on September 4-6.
Using the world’s most accurate and realistic simulator from Urban Golf, an indoor golf lounge in Makati, amateur golfers will be going for an ace at a 150-yard hole of a designated par-3 of one of the prestigious international golf courses featured in the simulator.
Players landing closest to the pin during the qualifying round on the first two days and until 5 p.m. of Day 3 will advance to the final round on the last day at 7 p.m. Aside from the soon-to-be-launched Kia Urban Crossover vehicle, other exciting prizes including a business class ticket to the US courtesy of Delta and Northwest Airlines will be at stake.

Inc., Raymundo’s Trophies & Sculptures, RMA Trading, Transview Golf Philippines Inc. and WS Sports Inc are among the exhibitors of the 14th edition of the Golf Show.
Distributors of giant golf brands such as Adam’s Golf, Callaway Golf, Dunlop, Maruman, Mizuno, Nike Golf, PING, Tourstage, Titleist and Wilson will offer huge price cuts and other promotional offers to help local golfers beat the crisis.
The three-day event, which remains to be the longest-running golf show in Asia, is spearheaded by GDAP president Butch Halaguena and internal vice president Raymund Atendido. The organizers are confident that it will surpass last year’s record of 9,000 visitors considering the featured event highlights including free seminars from GDAP member companies.
