TRECE Martires, Cavite, Philippines – Philippe Palanca, Josh Jorge and Anika Tanoue cruised to victories while Harmie Constantino posted a three-shot win as they gained berths in the Callaway Junior World at the Sherwood Hills Golf Club course here.
Palanca, grandson of former PBA chairman Honey Boy, won the boys Class E by 11 strokes, Jorge routed the field in boys Class F and Tanoue did the same in girls Class F. Constantino claimed the girls Class F crown.
All four earned free tickets from Philippine Airlines for their campaign in the Junior World in San Diego, California in July.
Meanwhile, Regina de Guzman (girls Class A), Miggy Yee (boys Class C), Miguel Tabuena (boys Class B), Mia Legaspi (girls Class C) and Irina Gabasa (girls Class B) were in firm control of their respective divisions going into the final round yesterday.
Fil-Briton Edward Reyes seized a one-stroke lead over Alexes Nallos with a 75-304 in boys Class A while Lanz Uy (75-307) and Kristoffer Arevalo (78-307) were joint leaders in Class C.
