ASHBURN, Virginia – Tennessee Titans defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth agreed to a seven-year deal worth about $100 million, including an NFL-record $41 million in guaranteed money, with the Washington Redskins on Friday.
The Redskins reverted to form by snagging the biggest name available with a blockbuster deal within hours of the midnight start of free agency.
“With the contract, it’s going to be all on me,” said Haynesworth, 6-foot-6 and 320 pounds (1.98 meters and 145 kilograms). (AP)
