The Club Balai Isabel Round Taal Volcano Regatta and Governor’s Cup, the last major sailing events of the Taal Lake Yatch Club, unfold today at the Taal Lake in Talisay, Batangas.
Expected to compete are teams from the Philippines, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Germany, Italy, Portugal and Hong Kong.
The extreme sporting event will also feature a 34-kilometer kayak marathon and a 10-kilometer novice run organized by the Philippine Kayaking Association.
According to Techno-Asia Construction and Development Corp. president Nelson Terrible, developer of Club Balai Isabel, the twin events will highlight Taal Lake as a water sports and adventure tourism haven.
