Running enthusiasts from Metro Manila and nearby provinces get busy in the next few weeks with the staging of four major races, according to race director Rudy Biscocho.
The Race for Life, a 5K and 10K charity fun run by Real Life Foundation, fires off the series of races on Nov. 22 at the Global City in Taguig with cash prizes worth P48,000 at stake.

The Run For Life (101.9 Alam Mo Na Yan), another fund-raising race, will be held Nov. 23, also at the Global City on 8th St. behind the NBC tent. Fee is P150.
On Nov. 30, the grand national finals of the 32nd National Milo Marathon will flag off in an out-and-back course at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila.
The centerpiece event is the 42K run among the qualifiers from the various elimination races in key cities nationwide.
the bulk of the participants are expected to join the 10K, 5K and 3k side events. At stake for the National Milo Marathon finals are cash prizes amounting to over P700,000.
The 20th Yakult 10-Miler wraps up the big yearend running at the Cultural Center Complex grounds in Pasay City on Dec 7.
A total prize of P45,000 is at stake with P3,000 going to the group with the biggest delegation.
Registration fee is 250.
More than 2,000 runners are expected to join Race for Life on Nov. 22 and Run for Life on Nov. 23, while another big field of 20,000 runners are competing in the National Milo Marathon finals. The Yakult 10-miler will be participated in by 3,000 runners.
