Jacinto came through with 634 pinfalls to surge past erstwhile leader Danny Tuazon, who earlier shot 630, while Bonnie Solis grabbed the third spot with 623 in Group I of the centerpiece senior mens event.
Almazar, who seized control in the first round with 682, held off the charging Roger Laraya, who had a 676 while Donat Pamilosa scored 669 to take the third spot in Group II of the senior mens division.
Talosig, on the other hand, sizzled with 603 to find herself towing the senior ladies field of the week-long tournament sanctioned by the Philippine Bowling Congress. Sandra Enriquez fired 584 to take second place while first round leader Margie Poblete slid to third with 581.
Tuazon, however, paced the all-event all groups category (Group I) as he shot an aggregate score of 1818 with Larry Fernandez and Willie Dacanay taking the next two spots with 1768 and 1735, respectively.
Nestor Berroya fired 1823 to post a seven-pin lead over Ver Jacinto (1816) while Philip Rillorta took the third spot with 1801 in Group II of the all-events.
Poblete, meanwhile, seized control in the ladies all events with 1700 followed by Edna Beltran (1676) and Minia Judan (1642), while Tobs Renacia carded 1756 pinfalls to pace Roland Salariosa (1715) and Girlie Solis (1630) in the graded mixed category.
In team play, Frank Barja, Lino Lim and Danny Tuazon continued to lead Group I with 1714 with the troika of Ben Alvarez, Willie Dacanay and Larry Fernandez just behind by seven pins at 1698.
It was close in Group II with Philip Rillorta, Fr. Ross Olabay and Louie Reyes (1658) trying to protect a shaky one-pin lead over the trio of Lito Marco, Nestor Berroya and Ernie Santos (1657) while Bobby Galang, Nepthy del Rosario and Benny Almazar took third place with 1624.
In Group II, Willy Lim and Cas King paced the field with 1171 while Edna Beltran and Rory Villena led the ladies groupw ith 1134. John Tiongson and Danny Tuason took charge in the graded mixed with 1180 while Nelia Santos and Nilo Penado had 1184 to show the way in the associate mixed.
