In a breakfast meeting held yesterday at the Manila Peninsula Hotel, PRISAA national chairman Emmanuel Angeles told BAP secretary-general Graham Lim and BAP National Mens Commission chairman Arturo Valenzona that his association recognizes the BAPs status as a member of the international sporting community, specifically the FIBA.
Angeles, who is also the president and CEO of the Clark Development Corp., has committed PRISAAs member-schools to participate in the National Juniors Basketball Championship to be held in Palawan in October.
"The PRISAA, under my leadership, fully supports BAP and its programs for amateur basketball. And we intend to be actively involved in some of its program, particularly the national juniors championship," said Angeles. "Were a very quiet group but in terms of scope and membership, were one of the biggest in the country."
Lim, on the other hand, expressed his gratitude on Angeles show of support.
