"It will be three memorable days for our lady golfers," said Fil-Estate vice president for marketing Shean Bedi of the organizing committee as he looked forward to a bigger event next year.
"This is just but a start and we are hoping to tap more teams not only from Luzon, but also the Visayas and Mindanao regions and even from abroad," Bedi added of the event backstopped by PLDT and BAYO.
Parbusters from the host club, the National Golf Association of the Philippines, Manila Southwoods, Forest Hills, Riviera, Valley Golf, Baguio Ladies Open Golf Association, Baguio Country Club, Camp Aguinaldo and Phil. Navy will see action.
A complete golf set and P80,000 worth of golf certificates are up for grabs as hole-in-one prizes for the 54-hole event supported by Wilson Sports.
"We would like to welcome all the players of the ALTC. We wish them all the best," said Camp John Hay Golf Club chairman Robert John Sobrepeña who added that trophies, great giveaways and surprise raffle prizes await all winners.
Sobrepeña will lead the ceremonial tee-off along with PLDT executives Rey Espinosa and Ito Ramirez, BAYO president Ferdinand Agustin, Wilson general manager Jun Jun Plana and new CJH club manager Bong Vilches.
