Petron, PCSO, San Miguel, Milo and Adidas backed up the Grudge Games.
Assumption ripped the game early, dumping tons of offense on St. Clare in storming to a 33-12 first quarter lead.
With the win, Assumption, along with the rest of the winners in the two-week long Grudge Games, is virtually assured of getting an invitation to the Champions League national championship in November.
"We will be closely monitoring developments among the collegiate mother league and post these in out website at http//www.championsleague.com.ph, said leagues chairman Joe Lipa. "The countdown to the round of 32 begins in October."
Added Lipa: "From what weve seen in the Grudge Games, the Final Four spots in the UAAP and the NCAA will be intensely disputed. This makes for great college basketball viewing."
