Central Luzon battles National Capital Region in basketball at 9:30 a.m. while Cordillera Autonomous Region meets Bicol at 11 a.m.
In volleyball, Bicol takes on NCR at 9:30 a.m. while at 11 a.m., it will be CAR versus CL.
Other participating regions are Southern Tagalog and Visayas, which did not field a team in basketball.
The colorful opening ceremony was held yesterday after the drawing of lots.
San Fernando Mayor Reynaldo Aquino and UA-P president Rev. Msgr. Ricardo Jesus Serrano, SLD, delivered the welcome remarks while WNCAA president Vivian Manila declared the tournament open.
The 33rd WNCAA-adidas is being supported by RPN 9, Nokia, Kampo Uno, Close Up, Monster Radio RX 93.1, Don Henrico’s Pizza, Elle, official marketing group Tactical Experts Corporation, Robinsons Malls, Café Lupe and Cream Silk.
