"Clubs interested in joining may sign up at the NGAP office at tel. nos. 525-69-87 and 524-51-60 and fax-phone 521-15-78 through Hazel and Charlyn," said tournament committee co-chairman Col. Abe Villanueva and Manding Santos yesterday.
"They may also register at Capitol Hills at tel. nos. 931-30-50 to 55 and fax-phone 932-57-09 through Nenette Paelmo, Malou Santos and Ciela Tolentino."
Villanueva and Santos made the announcement after meeting with tournament committee members Taby Tabaniag, Jake Ayson and Roger Flores.
"The entry forms of those teams signing up must bear the signature of either the club president or general manager," Villanueva and Santos said.
"The tournament is slated from Dec. 16 to 20," said Robert Cheng, the man, who launched the event in 1998 to provide Filipino caddies their own exclusive tournament, financial help and discover talent.
"We will announce the venue as soon as all the details are completed. And as usual, we are requiring all participants to wear uniforms representing their clubs."
Cheng, president of the RGC Group of Companies, also said that he is reviving the event in coordination with the First Gentleman Foundation Inc. headed by Juan Miguel "Mike" Arroyo. There was no tournament last year.
"We certainly welcome the involvement of the First Gentleman," Cheng said.
