Leading the junior campaigners are Yannick Guba, Irwin de Guzman, Joseph Arcilla, Jandrick de Castro, Kyle Dandan, Raymond Villarete, Ralph Barte, Michael Basco, Joshua Tan Ho, Bien Zoleta, Ivy de Castro and Bambi Zoleta.
The first round will be held on Nov. 2-3 while the second round until the quarterfinals will be on Nov. 8-10. Events on tap are boys and girls 18-under, 16-under, 14-under, 12-under and unisex 10-under divisions.
Meanwhile, registration is also ongoing for the mens and womens Open slated Nov. 12-24 at the indoor courts. Deadline of entry is on Nov. 9 while the draw for the qualifying and main draw will be held on Nov. 10. Qualifying rounds will run from Nov. 12-15. Entry fees are P300 for singles and P500 for doubles.
Total cash at stake is P400,000 with the mens singles champion earning P80,000 and the womens singles winner pocketing P30,000. Doubles winners get P18,000 (mens) and P8,000 (womens).
National players Johnny Arcilla, Joseph Victorino, Adelo Abadia, Mike Mora III, Czarina Mae Arevalo, Patricia Santos, Charise Godoy and Berry Sepulveda will spearhead the campaigners in the Open division which will be participated in by players all over the country.
