Navasero attends OCA meeting

The Philippine Olympic Committee has chosen baseball head Hector Navasero to represent the POC during the annual meeting of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) Continental 2002 Forum on April 9 in Kuwait.

Navasero’s appointment was announced by POC president Celso Dayrit during last week’s general assembly in Makati after secretary-general Romeo Ribano begged off due to previous commitment.

"I’m deeply honored to be chosen to represent the POC in the OCA special meeting," said Navasero, who will be joined by other National Olympic Council heads from entire Asia.
