Funds raised from the tournament will go to PBSP’s Mindanao and Peace Development Program and the various poverty alleviation projects that will be undertaken by the Office of the President.
The tournament is supported by major sponsors Philippine Long Distance Telephone (PLDT) Co., Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation, First Philippine Holdings and Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR).
Holes sponsors are the Aboitiz Group of Companies, Asian Terminals Incorporated, City Metro Manila Tollways Corporation, Fort Bonifacio Development Corporation, Nestle Philippines, Inc., San Miguel Corporation, SMART Communications Inc., and United Laboratories. Hole in one sponsors meanwhile, are Toyota and Pioneer Insurance and Surety Corporation.
Other leading corporations who will participate in the tournament include team sponsors, Joaquin Cunanan & Co., Philippine National Oil Corporation and Sycip, Incorporated. A Soriano Corporation, Citibank, N.A. Land Bank of the Philippines and Petron Corporation also lent support to the tournament.

PBSP, a collective of 154 corporations, have organized golf tournaments since 1995 to raise funds for its education, environment protection and poverty alleviation programs.
