The 22-year-old Rosales, who carded an opening 70 in last weeks YourLife Classic but faltered and settled for a joint 51st place finish with compatriot Dorothy Delasin, birdied four of the last 10 holes to join 17 others in 31st place, five shots off Kim, who sizzled with a 64.
Delasin, the Rookie of the Year who finished 36th here last year, didnt see action as she received the PSA Athlete of the Year award here Thursday night.
With a new putter and grip, Kim shot a blistering eight-under card, her best round of the young season and it came just four days after compatriot Se Ri Pak ruled the YourLife Classic in Orlando.
Kim was one-shot ahead of Australian Wendy Doolan.
