Two hundred-eighty club members and guests vie for top honors in the 18-hole tournament which is held in honor of Manila Southwoods chairman Robert John L. Sobrepeña.
According to Manila Southwoods sports and games committee chairman Alfredo Mendoza, Sobrepeña will drive the ceremonial ball scheduled at 7 a.m.
"A grand finale for Manila Southwoods’ great year is celebrated today – great golf, fantastic prizes, fabulous food, and explosive music," Mendoza said.
Other sponsors of the tournament are CAP, Camp John Hay, Custom Clubmakers, Caltex, Coca-Cola, Duty Free, Eastgate, EZGO, Federal Management, House of Kangaroo, Interpro, Kager, Multi-Global, MRT, Philippine Airlines, Plasterglass, R. Garcia, RR Payumo, Romago, Smart and Sumitomo.
Stableford (PAL Points) System will be used for scoring. Participants classified under Classes A and B and the guest division will play in the Masters course while Classes C, D and E and the ladies division in the Legends course.
Hyperbeat will serenade the players during the awards night with Premiere Wines and Chivas Regal as bar hosts. Kork Phils. and the Manila Southwoods sports and games committee will host the grand dinner buffet.
