DUMAGUETE CITY, Philipines — A job fair will be held at a mall in this city on November 19 by the city government through the Public Employment Service Office (PESO).
PESO manager Maria Socorro Mira,said 18 local companies and overseas recruitment agencies committed to be part of the job fair, which she said will target a 15-percent hired-on-the-spot applicants.
Job vacancies include those engaged in accounting, sales, engineering, carpentry, construction, janitorial, security, instruction, computers or information technology, hospitality, health care, among others.
Mayor Manuel Sagarbarria said the activity will form part of the city's fiesta celebration in cooperation with the DOLE and POEA regional offices.
Socorro encourages all applicants to register at the PESO Office at 2nd floor of the Dumaguete Public Market complex. (FREEMAN)
