Running enthusiasts inanyayahan sa ‘Run 4Health Research’ ng PCHRD

MANILA, Philippines - Sa kauna-unahang pagkakataon ay inanyayahan ng Philippine Commission for Health Research and Development (PCHRD) ang mga running enthusiasts para sa isang patakbo na inorganisa ng kanilang tanggapan kasama ang Department of Science and Technology (DOST) at Council of Health Research and Development (COHRED) sa pamamagitan ng Streetwise PR and Events Management at Great Minds @ Work.

Ang “Run 4Health Research” na nakatakda sa Agos­to 9 sa Sunken Parking, Jalandoni street sa CCP Complex, Pasay City ay isa sa mga event na nakapaila­lim sa gaganaping Global Forum on Research and Innovation for Health na naglalayong iparating at ipaalam sa pubiko ang kahalagahan ng research and innovation on health sa pandaigdigang pangkalahatan.

“For this reason, the council is organizing a fun run, the “R4R (Run 4 Health Research)” to promote the upcoming Global Forum on Research and Innovation for Health which the Philippines through the PCHRD will be hosting in partnership with the Council of Health Research and De­velopment. The objective of this promotional event is to disseminate information and raise the awareness of the citizens in the international strategies and innovations in health research relevant to public service and national development,” wika ni PCHRD Executive Director Dr. Jaime Montoya.

Ang events na nakahanay ay ang men’s at women’s 10k, 5K, at 3k, habang ang entry fee ay P350, P400 at P500 kasama na rito ang race kit at race bib.

Samantala, bukod sa medalya at tropeo, ang mga mag­wawagi ay mag-uuwi rin ng P5,000, P3,000 at P2,000 para sa 10k, habang P4,000, P3,000 at P2,000 para sa 5k at P3,000, P2,000 at P1,000 sa 3k.

Maaaring magpatala ang mga interesado mula alas-06 ng umaga hanggang alas-6 ng gabi sa Max’s Restaurant Harbour Square, CCP Complex, Pasay City, sa Mabuhay Restop, Rizal Park at sa Rm 403 Puso ng Maynila Building, Mabini St., Ermita, Manila.
