Gun permit ni Quiboloy binawi na - PNP

Pastor Apollo Quiboloy will go on a period of prayer and contemplation as he deals with his possible arrest and detention by Congress, according to his lawyer.

MANILA, Philippines — Binawi na ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang gun permit ni Kingdom of Jesus Christ leader Pastor Apollo Quiboloy.

Ayon kay PNP spokesperson Police Colonel Jean Fajardo, inaprubahan ni PNP chief Police General Rommel Marbil ang rekomendasyon na ipawalang-bisa ang license to own and possess firearms o LTOPF ni Quiboloy.

Nauna nang inirekomenda ng Firearms and Explosives Office ng PNP ang pagbawi sa mga baril ni Quiboloy.

Binanggit nito ang Section 4 (g) ng Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act dahil na rin sa kinakaharap na mga kaso ng pastor.

Nakasaad sa Stan­dards and Requisites for Issuance of and Obtaining a LTOPF na, “The applicant has not been convicted or is currently an accused in a pending criminal case before any court of law for a crime that is punishable with a penalty of more than two years.”

Sabi ng PNP, may 19 na baril si Quiboloy, isa rito ang nag-expire na ang lisensiya noong Marso.
