MANILA, Philippines — Kilala si wing spiker Myla Pablo sa eksplosibong laro nito sa Premier Volleyball League (PVL).
Tinawag pa itong ‘Bagyong Pablo’ dahil sa husay nito sa loob ng court.
Sa pagbabalik nito sa Petro Gazz, naging limitado ang playing time nito partikular na sa nakalipas na kumperensiya.
Kaya naman nang mabigyan ito ng playing time, sinisiguro ni Pablo na magiging matindi ang ratsada nito para sa Gazz Angels.
Bagay na hinangaan ni PVL MVP Brooke Van Sickle na katropa nito sa Gazz Angels sa PVL 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference.
“I thought Myla did fantastic. I think every ball she touched was a kill. I’m just so proud of the team and it’s good to win against Cignal. They’re a very, very good team. They’re very scrappy and they know how to win. I’m very proud leaving on a high note before Christmas,” wika ni Van Sickle.
Sa kanilang huling laro, nagtala si Pablo ng 15 puntos para tulungan ang Gazz Angels na makuha ang panalo.
Alam ni Van Sickle ang kakayahan ni Pablo bilang isang player.
“Myla’s a fantastic player. They don’t call her ‘Typhoon Pablo’ for nothing. She has all the shots, wicked line hits for sure. She’s just confident. When I see her on the court and something doesn’t happen, she’s like ‘Okay, next one, I got it,” ani Van Sickle.
Masaya si Van Sickle na may teammate ito na tulad ni Pablo na tunay na maasahan ng Gazz Angels sa opensa.
“It’s really refreshing to be next to her and have someone calm, collected, and just fiery. I’m very happy to have her as a teammate,” ani Van Sickle.
