Inangkin nina Magnaye at Morada ang kanilang ikalawang men’s open doubles title matapos igupo ang pares nina national team member Anton Cayanan at Joper Philip Escueta, 21-18, 20-22, 21-17 sa finals.
Tinalo naman nina Leonardo at Pomarang, parehong Philippine team members, sina Joella Geva Ramos Devera at Aires Amor Montilla, 21-19, 21-19 para maidepensa ang women’s doubles open crown sa torneong sponsored ng Smart Communications at Babolat.
Sa iba pang doubles finals results, tinalo nina Ke-vin Llanes at Nestorjan Tapales ang pares nina Munir Bartolome at Rey Angelo Pedron, 21-9, 18-21, 21-15 para makopo ang boys’ doubles 15-under title habang iginupo nina Anthea Marie Gonzales at Angel Valle sina Clara Sofia Ignacio at Nina Pantig, 21-4, 21-4 para sa girls’ 15-under title.
Tinalo naman nina Jeno Carino at Kurt Vincent Maghirang sina Agustin Alvarez at Ralph Batalon, 21-19, 21-19 para sa boys’ doubles under-17 trophy habang pinabagsak nina Anthea Marie Gonzales at Mica Ibong sina Palma Assumpta Cruz at Alexis Nicole Santos, 21-11, 21-7 para sa girls 17-under title.
Pinabagsak naman nina John Matthew Bernardo at Michael Adrian Clemente sina Estarco Bacalso at Bless Linaban, 21-15, 21-13 para sa boys’ doubles Under-19 crown habang iginupo nina Mikaela Joy De Guzman at Chanelle Lunod sina Andrea Abalos at Dennise Silva, 21-3, 21-14 para sa girls’ 19-under trophy.
Mahigit 2,000 participants mula sa iba’t ibang dako ng bansa ang sumali sa weeklong tournament na sanctioned ng Philippine Badminton Association gamit ang Philippine National Ranking System.
