MANILA, Philippines - Bilang isang Mexican fighter, inaÂasahan na ni unified world flyweight chamÂpion Brian ‘The Hawaiian Punch’ Viloria na makikipagsabaÂyan sa kanya si challenger Juan ‘El GalÂlo’ Estrada.
Sinabi ni Viloria na mag-uunahan siÂla ni Estrada na mapabagsak ang isa’t isa sa kanilang laban sa Abril 6 sa Venetian Macao Resort Hotel sa MaÂcau, China.
“It will be another toe to toe war a barnburner. I am going to want to go toe to toe and he will want to do the same,†ani Viloria kay Estrada. “We will try to knock each other out so expect that type of fight the same way it was against (Tyson) Marquez.â€
Idedepensa ng 32-anyos na si ViÂloÂria ang kanyang mga hawak na World Boxing Organization at World Boxing Association flyweight titles laban sa 24-anyos na si Estrada.
Ayon kay Viloria, si Estrada ang siÂyang posibleng magpasimula ng akÂsyon.
“He is going to bring it to me. He is a typical Mexican fighter who wants to go toe to toe. I expect a tough fight against Juan Estrada,†sabi ni Viloria.
Hawak ni Viloria ang kanyang 32-3-0 win-loss-draw ring record kasama ang 19 KOs, habang dala naman ni Estrada ang kanyang 22-2-0 (17 KOs) slate.
Ito ang unang pagkakataon na lalaban si Viloria sa Macau, China.
Sa kanyang pag-eensayo sa Wild Card Boxing Club sa ilalim ni Filipino traiÂner Marvin Smodio, nakakasabay ni ViÂloria si two-time Olympic Gold meÂdaÂlist Zou Shiming ng China.
“He is very quick and knows how to get in, great with his feet, very quick fisted. We spar three times a week 8-10 rounds. We have helped each other,†ani ViÂloria kay Shiming.
