Pinuri ni Sen. Robin Padilla si Gerald Anderson dahil sa rescue work na ginawa niya noong bagyong Carina. Maaalalang lumusong sa baha si Gerald at kanyang mga kasama para matulungan ang mga binaha at na-stranded sa kanilang mga bahay.
Naniniwala si Sen. Robin na deserve nito ang commendation at promotion sa Philippine Coast Guard Auxiliary Unit. One-rank promotion ang inihain ng senador para sa kanya sa inihain nitong Senate Resolution 1089. Sa ngayon, auxiliary lieutenant commander sa PCG Auxiliary.
“Mr. Anderson’s selflessness and willingness to place others’ needs above his own safety serve as an inspiration to our countrymen. His actions demonstrated the true embodiment of a reservist, which is to support and complement the active force when circumstances called for,” sabi ni Robin.
“It must be recalled that the actor’s heroic deeds and compassion in times of disasters during the onslaught of Typhoon Ondoy in 2009, which also caused extensive flooding in Metro Manila and nearby provinces, were similarly recognized,” dagdag pa ng senador.
“Mr. Anderson also showcased the core values of PCG as first responders in the face of calamities, which only merits recognition and corresponding promotion in service,” pagtatapos ni Sen. Robin sa kanyang speech sa paghahain ng resolution.
Magandang balita ito para kay Gerald na nagkasakit at sa isang post sa Instagram story, ipinakita ang capsule na iniinom. Hindi na nito sinabi kung para saan ang gamot na ininom.
