Kapamilya star Julia Montes thinks herself, too, 2015 is starting right for her.
Mantakin mo nga namang binulaga siya ng balitang winner siya ng award for best actress for her performance in the Book One of the series, Ikaw Lamang, sa Gawad Tanglaw Award.
Co-winner ni Julia for the same award si Angel Locsin for her performance naman sa The Legal Wife.
At heto pa, Julia is the lead actress too of the pambungad na salvo ng Star Cinema, Halik sa Hangin. Playing leading men to her are Gerald Anderson at JC de Vera.
Based on a story by Enrico Santos, with Patrick John Valencia bilang scriptwriter, tungkol daw ito sa isang babae na makararanas ng kakaibang thrill and at the same frustration sa unang karanasan niya sa pag-ibig.
Directing Halik sa Hangin is Manny Palo, who said, all three stars are playing bolder and braver kumpara sa kanilang unang ginampanan.
“Kaya ako mismo, kinikilig at napamaang habang pinapanood ko ang rushes ng pelikula. A, basta, ibang-iba sina Julia, Gerald, at JC na mapapanood sa pelikula.
“They have all matured, performance-wise,” sabi ni Direk Manny.
But did you know that at 18 going 19, ‘di pa nakararanas umibig at ibigin si Julia?
But of course, inaamin ni Julia na may mga umaaligid. Pero wala pa raw nagkakalakas-loob na pormal na ligawan siya. Na ok lang, as Julia says, she thinks she’s not yet ready for a real life romance. “At saka ang gusto ko,” pahayag pa ni Julia. “Ang maging unang pag-ibig ko ay siyang maging last ko na rin.”
Gerald, on the other hand, we all know ay ‘one and only’ ni Maja Salvador. JC, on the other hand, we heard has his eyes fixed on Kapuso star LJ Reyes, mother ng nag-iisang anak ng Kapamilya actor na si Paulo Avelino.
Jennylyn ayaw magreklamo na walang lovelife
Duda si Jennylyn Mercado na magkaka-love life siya this year. And she stressed, she’s not complaining.
After all nga raw, ang kapalit nito kumbaga, ay ang pagiging busy niya all year round. And that would mean, she said ay maipe-prepare niya ang magandang kinabukasan ng kanyang anak na si Alex Jazz. And of course, maibibigay niya ang mga pangangailangan ng kanyang mama Lydia na may karamdaman sa kasalukuyan, dala nga ng sprain sa ‘di inaasahang pagkakadulas.
Jennylyn currently, we all know heads the cast of the new series on GMA-7, Second Chances with Rafael Rosell, Raymart Santiago, Ricky Davao, Ayen Laurel, Chynna Ortaleza, Jackie Rice, Luis Alandy, Glenda Garcia, and Camille Prats, for her co-stars, directed by Laurice Guillen.
Unlike her recently released flick, English Only, Please, drama itong Second Chances.
“Kaya mahirap ang aking role, since I’m supposed to be a married woman na nakaranas ng sunud-sunod na tragedy sa aking pamilya.
“Bale ba, closed friend ko rito si Camille na isang bipolar at addict sa drugs.
“Kaya sa halip na ma-influence niya ako sa kabutihan, iba ang tatahakin kong landas,” seryosong saad ni Jennylyn.
Which is why, she welcomes Sunday, dahil co-host siya noontime musical show, Sunday All Stars.
She’s also a regular in Sarap with Family.
Another thing which excites her ay ang kanyang two upcoming endorsements, na hindi pa puwedeng sabihin kung ano.
Of course, alam na nating Jennylyn is one of Dr. Vicki Belo’s endorsers for her beauty clinic.
