O, ayan, Salve A., sa presscon ng Third Eye, ang soon-to-be-released flick ng Regal Entertainment, Inc., Camille Prats, a young widow at 26 years old, denied na magpapakasal na sila ng kanyang boyfriend na si John Yambao, dati niyang schoolmate and for a time resided in the US.
In the case of John and Camille, they decided, too, na huwag na munang magpakasal.
Bagama’t, ayon sa aktres, John Yambao appears the perfect match for her after her late husband, Anthony Linsangan, died two years ago.
Camille has a five-year-old son who now takes to her Fil-Am boyfriend like a dad.
Camille stars in Third Eye with Carla Abellana, Denise Laurel, Ejay Falcon, and Alex Medina and plays wife to the latter. Mag-asawang misteryoso sila na kapwa uhaw sa dugo ng buhay na mga nilalang.
Mother Lily Monteverde, who seems to have a passion for producing horror-suspense films (best example is her library of Shake, Rattle & Roll series), produced Third Eye na directed naman ni Caloy Adlawan.
She co-produced Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay, too, with Star Cinema, which emerged as one of the top grossers in the last Metro Manila Film Festival. The film starred the love team of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla.
Said Mother Lily, sounding hopeful, ‘‘I want, kumbaga, history to repeat itself. Na tulad ng Pagpag (which Frasco Mortiz directed) will also emerge a big hit sa box office.’’
Nash at Alexa madalas nang magkasama
Speaking of Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, like them, balitang ibi-build up din ng ABS-CBN at Star Cinema ang mga dating Goin’ Bulilit mainstays na sina Nash Aguas at Alexa Ilacad.
Both ‘‘graduate’’ of the youth gag shows, kasama na ang dalawa ngayon sa cast ng Luv U, also a comedy show for TV ni Direk Edgar Mortiz.
Nash, as we all remember, was a top winner of a reality show na a search for new child stars.
He was eight years old when he won the contest and was given a prize of P50,000.
Alexa’s father is reportedly a younger brother of OctoArts producer, Orly Ilacad.
While Nash already looks tall and fit at 15 years old, Alexa needs to lose weight because she looks a bit big on small screen.
The ‘‘powers’’ behind ABS CBN and Star Cinema, like the rest of regular TV viewers, noticed their kakaibang chemistry when they appeared together in an episode in Maalaala Mo Kaya.
Henceforth, madalas na silang ipareha sa isa’t isa sa Luv U.
