A cabbie's Holy Week policy

CABBIE'S POLICY. During the two special days of the Holy Week (Holy Thursday and Good Friday), Cardo (not his real name), a taxi driver, refuses to accept passengers he knows are bound for a motel. He tells them so and gives his reason for refusing. Sometimes the passengers would understand, at times some would threaten to report him to the LTFRB.

RESPECT. Cardo says this is his way of showing his respect to Jesus on the days of His passion and death on the Cross. “Ambot unsay inyong hunahuna niining akong pagtuo basta kay mao nang akong gisunod baynte ka tuig kapin na karon,” Cardo told The Ear's informer.
