MANILA, Philippines - Kikita ng $2.8 hanggang $3 milyon sa pay-per-view kung maghaharap sina Manny Pacquiao at Floyd Mayweather ayon sa isang eksperto.
Sinabi ng eksperto na ayaw magpakilala na walang dahilan para hindi matuloy ang laban nina Floyd Mayweather Jr. at ni Manny Pacquiao.
Sinabi niyang napatunayan na ni Mayweather na malakas ang kanyang hatak sa pay-per-view base sa kanyang naka-raang panalo kay Juan Manuel Marquez.
“I thought the fight would do well, but I was surprised it hit the 1 million buy mark. Mayweather is now a bonafide PPV draw and could probably command 600,000 to 800,000 buys against almost any opponent and top the 1 million buy mark against elite competition,” sabi ni Mr. Expert.
Ngunit sinabi nitong kailangang maganda ang maipakita ni Pacquiao sa kanyang nalalapit na laban kontra kay Miguel Angel Cotto.
“As for Floyd-Manny, if Pacquiao looks good against Cotto and they don’t let too much time transpire between Pacquiao/ Cotto and Mayweather/Pacquiao, that fight’s a potential record setter,” aniya.
“I don’t want to be quoted on a number but between you and me, a potential May 2010 Pacquiao-Mayweather fight could reach 2.8 million to 3 million buys, a lofty figure I would have never thought could be obtained given all the choices viewers have in today’s crowded media marketplace,” dagdag pa niya.
